Powers & Abilities

Owl Wings - A wide, expansive wingspan that starts from between her shoulder blades, reaches about 10 feet wide, and resembles a snowy owl’s wings.

Maneuverable Feathers - The ability to telekinetically control the movement and nature of each feather with ease, enabling her to harden them into a blade-like state or shoot them as projectiles, as well as control their speed and trajectory.

Feather Blades – Nicknamed ‘Angelic Severing’ by fans. Seraphim can pluck out two primary feathers from each of her wings, manipulate their nature, and use them as swords or daggers to cut through her target.

Superhuman Strength, Speed, and Agility – Much like many other supes, her strength, speed, and agility are enhanced to superhuman levels. However, Hers puts her near the level of Homelander with her regenerative capabilities.

Random / Important Facts ;༊

Publicly, Seraphim is a pure, Christian girl who became a hero for helping people, which was at one point true, however as she grew up that naivety died out. Leaving the ‘real Angelina’ a bitter, violent supe that mirrors Homelander. 

When her wings grew in from the compound V she was injected with as a baby, she was 8 years old and her mother claimed it was a gift from God before throwing her into the Capes of Christ and the Christian hero pageant circuit. 

Her mother picked out her original costume, which she wore from age 12 to 18 until she grew out of it and Vought enforced a new one. 

While she was in pageants as a kid, she was also one of Starlight’s bullying victims, like Firecracker, and often came runner-up behind Starlight.

She auditioned for the seven simultaneously as Starlight, but Starlight was accepted first. 

She joins the seven when The Deep is first put on leave, Vought still claiming he’s a member but that they want to ensure there are always seven heroes in New York to make up the seven. 

She hooks up with The Deep before he moves for his punishment for the ‘Starlight Incident,’ and ends up pregnant. However, she does get an abortion – which Vought covers up to ensure her persona stays intact, especially with her just joining and The Deep already being in hot water. 

Shortly after her abortion and official introduction to the seven, Vought insists she and Homelander become a public supe couple. Claiming that it would improve both their appearances.

While the relationship was initially all for show, they reveal their true personalities and bond once the two are forced to live together. Relying on one another to cover up each other's mistakes.

She’s a singer, and singing is one of her favorite things to do for fans – even if she rarely gets to.

She, like many other supes, does drugs ‘secretly.’ Mainly marijuana and coke. But never comp V like A-Train or Popclaw

reading up on enneagram I find it pretty compelling to slot the sinners into to get their motivations and stuff so let´s go and assign different types of brokenness to them

Three clusters

There are 12 playable sinners, which would neatly split into three subgroups in accordance with enneagram types - I am taking the LocalScriptMan interpretation of Enneagram here, supplementing with information from other sources as needed (at th time of writing this, he has three more types to make videos on).

Head/fear cluster (5,6,7) - issues of existential dread, fear Heart/shame cluster (2,3,4) - issues of love and self worth Body/anger cluster (8,9,1) - issues of handling anger and boundaries

Going off of the Sinners´ vibes, they can be neatly places into three categories:

head cluster - Faust, Ishmael, Don Quixote, Outis

Faust slots into a fear cluster very seamlesly. She is pretty much a stereotypical 5, obsesse with hoarding all th knowledge so she is prepared for anything. The moment she loses it though ? Fear.

Ishmael similalry is very much fear based, to the point it being her kneejerk reaction to goign to the Lake. She does push through and become very angry, but that is basically her response to being put into situation she can´t run away from. Pretty solid 6 if you ask me.

Don is as close to a 7 as one can get. True, she does come close to being an 8 and perhaps her alt form is an 8 but base Don ? She runs away from her true self and her entire arc is most likely about confronting the uncomfortable truth of who and what she is.

Outis, as far as the cluster goes, is the least obvious. I originally had her slotted into a body cluster, but is later became clearer that she is more of a fear type that shoves is all under the rug and pretends to be tough (as evident her reactions in Railway 4 and TkT, which are so far some of the most breakown moments for her that lets her persona slip away, although briefly). Slotting her as a type 5 was not my first choice, however she does share the same sort of fear of being incompetent and in dire situations substitutes it be planning for every possible route, strategising her way out (didn´t work out much in canto 5, because she seems to have more theory than practise with sailing the Lake, being outmatched by Ishmael´s experience very early on in that journey)

heart cluster - Rodion, Hong Lu, Gregor, Meursault

Rodya is a type 4 and I WILL fight anyone on this who is going to disagree. She quite literally takes her shame of being inadequate and builds a shielding persona of unflappability ala Tyrion Lannister. She is obsessed with being original and unique, while disregarding her own actual identity because of it. When stressed, she dips into 2´s complex of being Unlovable (the Unloving is literally the name of her canto for crying out loud).

Compare that to Hong Lu. Poster child of Facade if there ever was one, deluding everyone including himself... but really just himself because his mask is slowly slipping as he talks about how his family treats him. He is frequently speaking of value and worth, in his Liu id even likening himself to a fancy tea. Very thematic, very type 3.

The most expressive of the shame squad as number 2, Gregor literally cannot hide his dislike for his bug arm as much as he tries to. Very obviously hates himself and thinks himself unlikeable because... well, bug arm. That lashes out randomly. He wants to break free from its influence, which is likely why he so often tries to connect to others by cracking jokes and being relatable AF in general.

Speaking of making others like you - there is Gregor, and then there is Meursault who just straight up gave up trying. If you don´t like him as he is, well, that´s that and this is this. Meursault just doesn´t give a flying fuck anymore, or at least tries to present as such. In th single moment of feeling something else than ennui, Meursault´s EGO briefly changes affinity from pride to gloom. Though I am not 100% on this, souns very much like type 2, a Gregor who just gave up trying to be friendly.

body cluster - Heathcliff, Sinclair, Yi Sang, Ryoshu

Heathcliff and angry - the two inseparable things. His ego briefly took on the wrath affinity, the angriest of the affinities. But anger isn´t the only thing he has. As type 1, he deems himself the main problem, to the point of one of his selves going on a killing spree across the multiverse, instead of talking to the woman he loves and face rejection. All because he resents her family and the place they grew up in. Try as he might, all Heathcliffs long for the one perfect timeline where Heathcliff and Cathy are happy together. But they are their own biggest enemy because emotional stability is one thing that pretty much every Heathcliff struggles with.

Sinclair doesn´t look like an anger type at first glance. He is cowardly, fearful wet cat that barely manages to face off against Kromer. That being said, he does have a bit of a psychological break during his canto, resulting in Don literally punching sense back into him. Sinclair´s actions in his canto are likewise motivated by anger, which is why in my eyes he is an 8. Very much vengeance themed canto and hey, Kromer is Lust themed creature, which just so happens to be 8´s biggest vice. Sinclair´s arc also deals wth loss of innocence, which is conveniently the corresponding virtue of type 8. It just fits.

Speaking of fitting, Yi Sang is type 9. Which is sloth on sloth on sloth. Inaction and refusal of self-assertion, striving to be whole again after being broken into pieces... I wonder where I seen that... (FLY BROKEN WINGS, I KNOW YOU ARE STILL WITH MEEEEEE...)

Ryoshu was a tricky one. Mostly because she fits into multiple spots pretty well. Also, we are yet to really see her have an emotional break. That being said, so far, when she expresses any emotion that isn´t her own flavor of masochistic craze, it is anger. And not just surface anger, but anger that runs in parallel with her familial attachments (see MotWe with the lines spoken by Cassetti). However, the boundaries do strike me as something that Ryoshu will have to confront in her canto, because it was her going beyond her own boundaries and following art orders in her source material as the artist who.... let things burn for the sake of art. I don´t actually know whether to slot her as an 8 or 1. Either would work in terms of placement, but personally, an 8 has a bit more kick to it and would mesh nicely with Ryoshu and Sinclair being so much on the same wave. (which also makes her a Wolverine type if LocalScriptMan is anything to go by which I personally think is fun af)

Christian Eisen was transferred to Hogwarts from Durmstrang in his fifth year. He is kind, caring and empathetic, but he can also be pretty tough and calculating if the situation demands it. Christian isn't a hot-headed person, he's very cautious and always thinks before acting. Thanks to his mother, who was always a pretty headstrong and independent woman, Christian grew up open-minded and free of prejudices and stereotypes, so he's okay with many things stigmatized by society, and he doesn't even always understand what's wrong with those things. Even the Dark Arts he was calm about until his brother became obsessed with them - his ruined life made him reconsider his views on some things. He always wanted to live in peace and without worries, so the role of “hero” imposed on him by his special abilities is not something he’s comfortable with, although he’s doing fine with it.

Despite all the problems Sebastian brought into his life during his fifth year, Christian saw him as a ray of light in his life when it was a very dark and dismal place. He became his first love, someone who helped him define himself and discover sides of himself he never knew he had. They complement each other like yin and yang - Christian's calmness and rationality balances Sebastian's temper and impulsiveness, and that's why their relationship was able to survive the turning point and grow stronger. On the background of Sebastian's attraction to the Dark Arts and all that goes with it, they had many conflicts, but Christian didn't leave him because of it and doesn't plan to, on the contrary - he will do everything to protect his now closest and beloved person from this harmful thing.

• Poppy Sweeting

After their adventures together, which Poppy often dragged him into during their fifth year, they have become close friends, always willing to be there for each other. Christian finds her to be a good, caring and sincere person, so he feels comfortable with her and was happy to be her first human friend at school.

She was the first person to help Christian settle into Hogwarts and later became a loyal friend he could rely on. He was impressed when Natty protected him from the Cruciatus Curse during a fight with Theophilus Harlow, covering him with herself. He's forever grateful to her for that and after that incident he respects her even more and considers her one of his closest friends.

Christian met her in the Hog's Head Inn in his fifth year and was delighted to have met his compatriot - even so eccentric and crazy. Beatrix turned out to be his Gryffindor classmate, whom he hadn't seen at school before, but he was more shocked to learn that his new friend belonged to the Kaltenbergs, a notorious aristocratic wizarding family in Germany. But she had no warm feelings for her family either. As Beatrix became close to Christian, she told him that she believed her parents had done something to her brother, who had disappeared without a trace after barely graduating from Hogwarts. He began to help her investigate the matter.

His cheerful good mate, who can cheer him up on gloomy days. But Christian still tries not to cross paths with him too often, lest he get involved in another doubtful idea with unpredictable consequences.

• Ominis Gaunt

Their relationship was unstable from the moment they met, and even their similar views on the Dark Arts couldn't make them friends. They didn't understand each other - Ominis didn't understand Christian because he (albeit reluctantly) indulged Sebastian's questionable ideas, and Christian didn't understand Ominis because he criticised Sebastian's ideas but offered nothing to replace them. Any chance of a good relationship between them was completely ruined by the events at the end of the fifth year - Christian was absolutely against turning Sebastian in, and the fact that the person who called himself Sebastian's best friend would even consider it was tantamount to betrayal to him, so after that they hardly ever spoke to each other.

▪ Backstory:

Christian was born in Germany in late 1874 to Manfred and Elisabeth Eisen. His family wasn't a famous family of wizards, but it was the best family he could've wished for. His parents loved each other and their children, Christian and his older brother Wilhelm. They lived a quiet and peaceful life, but only until a certain moment. The moment when it became clear that something was wrong with Wilhelm's magic.

Wilhelm's magic was weak. Every time he tried to cast a spell, it either ended in nothing or in something completely unpredictable. At first, the parents thought that his magic was just developing in a different way and there was nothing to worry about. But when it came time for school, nothing had changed. Even Christian, who was three years younger, was much more capable, as if the magic meant for the two of them had gone to him alone. Seeing how proud the parents were of his brother, and feeling that they loved him more (probably because Christian was born a normal wizard, unlike him) Wilhelm became jealous of him and grew more and more distant. Since he wasn't a Squib, and there was still the possibility of a sudden burst of magic, sending him to a Muggle school was out of the question, but a wizarding school could help him develop the abilities a father thought he had. So, with the help of his old friend who was the headmaster of the school, he got his older son into Durmstrang. But contrary to his expectations, things only got worse - his classmates began to taunt and bully the weak wizard, who for the same reason was unable to resist them.

When Christian entered the school, things became absolutely terrible for Wilhelm - now absolutely everyone around him compared him to his younger brother. The school immediately saw the potential in the talented and overly capable young wizard, and Wilhelm's life became many times worse than it already was. Eventually he got tired of living like that and started looking for a way to increase his magic, to make it, if not powerful, then at least normal - like everyone else's. And eventually he did. Wilhelm just came home for the holidays, smiling happily for the first time in a long time, and cast a few basic spells in front of his family. His only explanation was that the school had helped him, and his family were too happy for him to suspect anything wrong. Only one person in the family was curious about such an unusual situation - Christian. He realised that nothing happens for nothing, especially a sudden increase in magical abilities literally out of nothing, so he started trying to find out from his brother how he managed to achieve it, which only annoyed him. But Christian wasn't the only one who annoyed him - after a while, he became annoyed with everyone and everything around him. But the nature of his irritation was different from what he used to unleash on his family in moments of despair, blaming them for the fact that their magic was fine and his wasn't, and for the fact that he had been born a mistake of nature. Christian had always been good at logic, and he guessed what was wrong, but hoped to the last that he was wrong. He was disappointed, but not surprised, to discover that his brother had many books on the Dark Arts, some of which were banned even at Durmstrang. But one of them, the oldest and darkest even to the touch, was lying aside, and it was the one that contained the solution to his brother's problem. An ancient and dark ritual, the details of which he never learned for at that moment his brother returned, furious to discover that his secret had been revealed. Christian tried to convince him that turning to the Dark Arts, whatever the reason, is a bad idea, but Wilhelm got even angrier and declared that he hated him, their parents, and all wizards because they, unlike him, had powers by birthright, and he had to pay for them. He snatched the book out of his brother's hands and ran away, and they didn't speak again until the Christmas holidays, when they both returned home.

Wilhelm came home already changed. The parents couldn't understand what had happened to their son, and he was in no hurry to explain, nor did Christian tell them that Wilhelm had turned to dark magic. Firstly, he didn't want to upset them, and secondly, he feared the consequences of such a decision, which, knowing Wilhelm's temper, would be unpredictable, perhaps even terrible.

But one day, on Christian's birthday, Wilhelm, who had lost his magic power again, decided to perform a ritual to get it back right in their house. Christian caught him almost at the end, but his arrival prevented the ritual from being completed, which made Wilhelm furious and gave rise to a new terrible idea in his head. He decided to take some of his brother's power, which he had been convinced for many years belonged to him, and later his own, so that Christian would feel himself in his place and realise what it had been like for him all these years. Wilhelm didn't plan to take his brother's life, because in his opinion a life without magic was worse than death. While he was trying to "connect" Christian to the same "source" of magic that had given him his powers, their mother ran to the noise. Elisabeth, as if she already knew what was going on, used a spell to push Wilhelm away from Christian and prevent him from leaving the same dark mark on her youngest son's face as he had on his own. She wanted to try and reason with her son, but there wasn't time - Wilhelm's rage descended on her in the form of a huge, unknown blob of dark energy that did terrible things to her - it was as if Wilhelm was releasing all the anger and hatred that had been building up inside him for years at once. With his father, who had also contributed to the destruction of his life, he decided to do something different when he came running to his wife's screams - he cast an Imperius curse on Manfred to kill Elisabeth and Christian by his father's hands. But despite all the rituals, the last of which had been interrupted, his magic was still wrong. Instead of killing his wife and youngest son, Manfred killed Wilhelm himself with a Killing Curse.

That day was the point of no return for this family. Every night after that, Christian had nightmares of his mother's painful screams in various terrifying tones, his father's gaze full of horror, anger and other indefinable mixed emotions, his brother's dead body with madness frozen forever on his face, and then his mother's eyes again, but now completely empty, like a living corpse. Cassiel Wood, an Auror from London who had once been Elisabeth's classmate, best friend and colleague, helped settle Manfred's case by proving that he had committed the murder under the influence of the Imperius Curse, as evidenced by Wilhelm's wand, and took Elisabeth to St. Mungo's Hospital. Manfred was not relieved that he had been found not guilty, for he had killed Wilhelm of his own free will, and could have avoided it if he had paid attention to his eldest son's oddities earlier. Now he had no eldest son, his wife was in critical condition, he had the blood of his own son on his hands, and his other son was completely devastated by what had happened and couldn't even speak to him. Yet he tried to look after his now only son, who was stunned and didn't even know what to feel, how to feel about his father and the death of his brother, who had no way back anyway. It seemed that things couldn't get any worse, but then a letter arrived from Cassiel revealing that Elisabeth's mind was irreversibly damaged and she would never be the same. That very night, Manfred took his own life.

Finding his father's lifeless body, Christian tried his best to save him, using all the healing spells his father had taught him, but it was too late. Realizing for the first time in all that time that he no longer had a brother and a father, and that his mother, who was the closest person in the world to him, wouldn't even be able to say a word to him, Christian went through a mental breakdown during which something strange happened. A wave of strange, unusually strong and uncontrollable magic erupted from him, destroying his previously cosy and bright house and even his wand. Christian miraculously survived the mad burst of magic, which ended as quickly as it had begun, but left behind a ruin that now resembled his own life.

In the end, it was Cassiel who decided to take Christian under his guardianship. Although he had some relatives on his father's side in Germany, he couldn't continue his education at Durmstrang - Cassiel told him so. When he looked into the matter of Wilhelm, he found out that he was directly involved in the regular and unexplained disappearances of students, which started just at the time when he managed to "fix" his magic, and it was these students who bullied him. Unable to find any other solution, Cassiel took Christian to the suburbs of London, set him up in his home and helped him as best he could with the pain of losing his family. Christian took his tragedy very hard and stopped thinking about the future, school or magic. He didn't even buy a new wand to replace the broken old one, and after that strange incident he was generally wary of practicing magic, thinking that Wilhelm had managed to do something to his magic after all, and that it was now just as dangerous as his brother's. But one day, a certain professor from Hogwarts appeared on the doorstep of his new home, having somehow heard about him and the strange incident that had destroyed his house in Germany. The professor took an interest in him and offered to transfer him to Hogwarts, and Christian agreed, as he had agreed to almost everything lately, simply because he didn't care. But the lessons and training with Professor Fig miraculously awakened the rest of his will to live, and by the time he arrived at Hogwarts, he felt almost fine. Only one thing bothered him - it turned out that Wilhelm wasn't cursing him, but he himself was connected to some ancient magic that a certain goblin was trying to subdue, and he had to stop him from getting control of it and saving everyone. Christian didn't like this turn of events - he didn't want to use that damn magic, and he didn't want to take on the role of hero either, but he had no choice. In fact, it was an advantage - trying to unlock the secrets of ancient magic helped him to distract himself from the pain of losing his family. And at Hogwarts he felt at home for the first time, even if being sorted into Slytherin House came as a bit of a surprise. Unlike Durmstrang, where he never felt he belonged, he quickly made friends at Hogwarts and settled in - at least he wasn't forced to learn the Dark Arts, which he now hated with all his heart. Ironically, however, he became very close to one of his classmates, who saw dark magic as the solution to all his problems and was too stubborn to be easily influenced by Christian's powers of persuasion. He tried to get Christian into it, while Christian tried to get him out of it. So the problems in his life have only increased, but he still hopes that one day he will be able to live a peaceful life, even though there is nothing to suggest it.

▪  Facts:

• Isidora Morganach's experience briefly planted the idea in Christian's mind of using ancient magic to cure his mother. However, after learning what eventually happened to Isidora's father, he no longer considered this magic a good way to heal anyone.

• He blames himself for his father's death, believing that if he hadn't distanced himself from him after what happened, things might have been different.

• He doesn't approve of Sebastian's ideas about curing his sister of the curse. Superhuman senses: Eve’s senses are about fifteen times stronger than an average human and 7,5 times more potent than an average cat. She has no problems finding her way in the dark, seeing as well as if it were daylight. Her hearing is so acute, Eve can hear a pin drop at a range of 50 feet, even if other noises are surrounding them. Claws: In human form, Eve has retractable claws and teeth.

Charm: Eve is the only Albino Snow Leopard in existence that can persuade human beings and animals to do her bidding with her voice, if she so chooses. Never having to pay for designer clothes for one, or always having free meals, that sort of thing.

Bio

Eve was born in Athens to wealthy parents, also known as Aristoi, making her Greek nobility. Her parents had trouble conceiving and turned to their patron deity Aphrodite for help, who then blessed the family with a daugher that had a beauty that could rival her own.

When Eve came of marrying age, tragedy struck her family, and Eve was abducted by a wealthy brothel owner and her household decimated. For two years, the man did and let other people do unspeakable things to her, until Zeus, in the guise of a young wealthy patron paid the man a wealthy sum to hire her services as a hetaira.

When he revealed himself as Zeus, after gaining her trust, he offered her immortality and powers in exchange for her becoming one of his wives. Stuck between a God's offer and the risk of his wifes' wrath or certain death if she went back, Eve accepted his offer. Besides immortality, he gave her the ability to shapeshift into an animal he thought fit her, which was an Albino Snow Leopard, so he could sneak her into Olympus without Hera noticing. While being okay with that power, and Zeus restoring her body and hands to their original unharmed state, Eve negotiated two other powers: The ability to charm people and animals with her voice, and she wanted to be fireproof, both powers in relation to her trauma. Zeus agreed, but made it so she could only charm humans and animals. After all, he couldn't have her charming him.

Soon enough Hera showed up on her doorstep. While she was furious, she saw an opportunity to get back at her husband and to grant Eve her revenge on her previous captor. While she granted Eve superior agility, speed, reflexes, strength and better senses than her animal counterpart, she also left behind a few not so nice surprises Eve would eventually discover on her own.

After enacting her revenge, Eve stayed at Hera's side until the Greek Pantheon fell and Hera set her free so she could find her own way in the world.

Portal to the Forgotten Realms

In a desperate attempt to be together with Elijah Mikaelson and to be rid of Klaus, Eve travels to New Orleans to find anything that can help.

As she explores the French Quarter, a small shop catches her eye, tucked away between a bookstore and an antiques dealer. There was a strange energy radiating from it, and Eve notices that no one seemed to be aware of its presence there, save for her. Intrigued and drawn to it, she enters the building, the door creaking open and the ring of a little brass bell chiming through the space alerting whomever owns the shop that a new customer has arrived. When no one shows, Eve decides to browse it on her own.

The shop itself seems to be a lot more spacious on the inside than it looked on the outside, and while the outside didn’t give anything away, the inside seemed to be an art gallery of some sort, with pristine white walls covered in paintings of all shapes, sizes and subjects. There were also easels of differing sizes, displaying artworks as well.

“Klaus would love this place,” she mutters to herself, her eyes scanning the art.

As she moves through the space, a canvas set on an easel catches her eye. It’s an oil painting named “The Forgotten Realms,” and depicts a big, lively city surrounded by water. As she studies the artwork, it feels like it’s alive, as if it’s moving in front of Eve’s eyes. Fascinated, she reaches out to touch the canvas, and her fingers make contact, the surface ripples as if it’s water, its watery tendrils snaking around her hand and arm, forcefully dragging her through the surface. Eve leans back, pulling and tugging against the tendrils to break herself free, to no avail. Eve is yanked through, tossed about, twisted and turned around as if she’s in a centrifuge, and then spat out on a beach near what is known in Faerun as Wyrm’s Crossing, between Rivington and Baldur’s Gate.

With no clue where she landed and no knowledge of the customs, religion or the people, she wanders into Rivington. Her attire earns her some strange looks, so with her ability to charm people, she gets herself some clothes, money and food. She finds her way into the city, securing herself a place to stay, and while she tries to find a way home, earns her keep as a bard, until she is abducted by a Nautiloid, waking up on the beach near Emerald Grove soon after.

Dark urge

The Dark Urge in my version of the game is dead, murdered by Orin in her chambers. When Eve lands in Westeros, with her bloodlust, Bhaal senses her presence, and knows her to be his true heir, even though she is not from the same plane of existence, and she is immortal, which Bhaal cannot change. That of course, doesn’t matter to the God, because he wants her all the same, given that she who travels between dimensions could make his grand plan even grander.

At first, Eve doesn’t feel any different, until she kills for the first time to sate her urge, and it isn’t enough, as if her desires have been amplified, voices in her head whispering to her to kill, to spill blood.

There’s two ways this can go: Eve resists the urge, breaking free from Bhaal’s plan for her, or she is seduced by his darkness and embraces her future of bloodlust.

Targaryen Chronicles ( Werecat AU)

Instead of going to New Orleans, Eve puts her trust in Elijah, who is working tirelessly for them to be together. When he chooses to save Klaus during the sun and moon ritual in Mystic Falls, Eve, feeling heartbroken and betrayed decides to leave, wearing an amulet made by Bonnie to ensure no one can use magical means to find her.

For about a year, Eve travels the world, and then settles down in Konigswald, a small city in the Black Forest near the German Swiss border. This is where she meets the Targaryen family (mainly Aemond, Daemon and Aegon) for the first time. They're immortal like her, chosen by their God to serve back in the day, and natural born Albino Snow Wereleopards.

Since she was a child, Constance grew up with a million of dreams. Her father always taught her to be optimist and never giving up on dreaming even though they were from the working class. She proved that she worked hard to save money, attend courses, for go to the police academy. Constance shattered the argument that the working class can be anything.

In addition, Constance has a great sense of empathy. Being an orphan and having been bullied in her childhood, she cannot stand to see others suffer. This is disturbs her in working a detective sometimes.

Background story :

Born into a working-class family, little Constance lived with her father, who worked as a construction worker. Her mother passed away during childbirth. Constance became obsessed with becoming a police officer when she saw some police had better live than her when she works to shining the shoes. Her father always taught her optimism and never giving up, despite coming from a working-class background.

Unfortunately, her father died in a fire in their house when she was 5 years old. This horrific event traumatized Constance, especially when she accidentally saw her father's charred body. She developed a strong aversion to eating meat because of it.

There are no family members willing to take care of her so the local police placed Constance in a catholic orphanage in New Haven. She was in a state of deep grief and refused to interact with anyone. Then, she met her first friend, Josephine. Josephine was cheerful and had many friends. She comforted Constance and invited her to play.

After being visited by the police, Constance remembered her dream again. She started working part-time at a textile factory in New Haven. She saved money for her police education and other needs. Unfortunately, this made Josephine jealous of Constance's increasing income. Josephine stole Constance's money and got caught. With her manipulative abilities, Josephine framed Constance as the villain, turning all the people in the orphanage against her. Constance became a public enemy since that.

Constance was bullied by everyone. She was often beaten by her friends who got manipulated by Josephine. There was a time when Constance couldn't take it anymore and fought back against Josephine, easily defeating her and making her nose bleed. This resulted in Constance being punished by the nurturing nuns.

From then on, Constance was frequently punished by the nurturing nuns, always being falsely accused by Josephine. Her back was repeatedly beaten with a stick until it bled and left scars that lasted into adulthood. There was no one who stands with her. Almost no one.

Until one day, she couldn't take it anymore. She decided to attempt suicide by jumping from a building. She was inspired by a girl from the orphanage who had died due to similar act some time ago. When she attempted it one night, her action was stopped by a nun, Aunt Schulz. Constance rebelled and bit Aunt Schulz's arm. She no longer respected anyone, as she felt that it was pointless since she was always blamed even when she didn't do anything. But instead of punishing her, Aunt Schulz embraced her tightly. Surrendering, Constance could only cry loudly in her embrace. Aunt Schulz promised to free Constance from bullying and find her opportunities to reach her dreams.

The next day, Constance's room was moved to the building where the babies were kept. She was free, no longer with the friends who tormented her. She only needed to work to calm the babies there. Soon, Aunt Schulz found an opportunity to earn money again. Constance worked as a nanny at Lady Georgina Uppertown's house. She was thrilled to be able to observe and learn the etiquette courses held there.

Her life in the orphanage continued until she was 17 years old. She left the orphanage and enrolled in the police academy. Of course, Constance faced ridicule because she was a woman and came from a working-class background but she was strong to face it. This bullying was nothing compared to what she experienced in the orphanage. Like Isaac, their relationship is quite good as colleagues. However, Constance gets annoyed when she sees Maddie with absinthe in her hand. At the end of the main event, Constance visits Maddie's house, comforts Maddie and her baby after Charles' death.

Bernadine Rochester :

If asked who Constance's closest friend is, the answer would be Bernadine. Their meeting began with thwarting Bernadine's suicide attempt. Constance saw that Bernadine was suffering in the same way. Their lives were shattered after being left by their parents (both parents and uncle) and often being slandered, making them a public enemy of evil people. Constance was determined to protect Bernadine and help her destroy the Rochester family. In the end, Bernadine had to die by Horatio to protect her lover, Arthur. Her death made Constance depressed because she lost her only friend who accepted her as she was, unlike her friends at the orphanage. Since then, Constance started wearing a black skirt. She didn't want her grief to be visible because of her job.

Arthur Wright :

Initially, their relationship was like cats and dogs. Constance was idealistic and Chief Wright was a little bit pragmatic leader. As the case ended, their relationship improved. They learned from each other, respected each other, and were willing to work together. Sometimes Chief Wright asking to Constance about his depression due to the loss of her lover, Bernadine. They both are losing Bernadine. Their relationship as colleague continued until Chief Wright's term ended. He became a senator for the Concordia district. Seven years later, Arthur began to recover from his depression and suddenly fell in love with Constance. The tragedy makes his hobby of socializing with the upper class is getting faded away, and he start fell in love with a girl who had a working-class background. He saw Constance as a hardworking and empathetic girl. Constance's lack of confidence and trust issues made it difficult for her to approach him, but she eventually succeeded. Constance realized the depth of Arthur's love and realized that she deserved to be loved. They finally got married a year later (yes, it was forced by his parent because he’s getting older).

Viola Pemberton :

Constance was very angry to find out that Viola had betrayed them in order to be recognized as a member of the Rochester family. As an orphan, she was furious to see Viola caring more about her biological father who had raped her mother more than her stepfather who loved her heartfeltly. In the end, she had to make peace for the sake of professionalism in their work. Over time, their relationship improved.

Justin Lawson :

Initially, their relationship was good. Justin admired Constance for her bravery in criticizing Chief Wright's pragmatic attitude. Justin and Constance were both idealistic and justice-oriented. However, in the end, Constance was horrified to see Justin Lawson's ambition, his hypocrisy, and she starts to hate him.

Marla de Paradis :

They are quite close. Constance was amazed by Marla's caring spirit in adopting some kids. After the main events of the game, they made donations to several orphanages.

Fun facts :

The story of Constance has a connection with Cinderella. She was given an expensive Cinderella storybook by her father and it created a connection with Cinderella. After becoming an orphan, Constance was placed in an orphanage, which is equated with Cinderella's stepfamily as her new family after her father death. Constance was treated poorly by almost everyone in the orphanage, just like Cinderella was mistreated by her stepmother and stepsisters. Then Constance fought back against Josephine, symbolizing Cinderella's courage to attend the party clearly disliked by her stepfamily. When Constance was at the height of despair and finally tried to commit suicide, her attempt was successfully stopped by Aunt Schulz, symbolized by the fairy godmother that saved Cinderella from her despair. Aunt Schulz helped her find connections to achieve her dream of becoming a police officer, like the fairy godmother who created the glass slipper that created connections and privileges to achieve Cinderella's dream of a better life.

She always wears gloves to recovered the scars from whip she got when she was in the orphanage.

Although she was raised in a Catholic orphanage, she is Protestant but she is not so religious. She witnessed puritans ravaging her orphanage and was repeatedly beaten by the Catholic nuns in the orphanage. She's not anti-religion, just not very religious.

Usually girls in orphanages are taught household skills. Constance had this ability so she was assigned to go undercover as a maid at Rochester Castle.

She also likes reading some non-fiction books and has shown an interest in the world of criminology since college. She has published several books based on her experiences as a detective.

Constance once cried when arresting a man from the working class. His daughter ran to him and cried over her father's arrest. Remember of her father, Constance ran out of the crowd and cried in the back. She was reprimanded by Isaac because she had to act professionally as a law enforcement officer.

She’s good in financial management. As people from the working class, she manages finances to survive and achieve her dreams.

She dislikes socializing with the upper class because she knows she will definitely be looked down upon by them due to her working-class background.

She speaks a little Irish Gaelic and makes Maddie jealous sometimes. She got it when she was in an orphanage where there were lots of Irish children. She also grumbles in Irish Gaelic after arguing with Chief Wright *yes I change it. Being fluent in Irish Gaelic from the orphanage is not makes sense I think*

After the game event, Constance enrolled at Concordia University in the Criminology department with a scholarship from Lady Highmore for her services in saving Concordia. Several years after her graduation, she pursued further studies to obtain a master's and doctoral degree, eventually becoming a professor in the Criminology department at Concordia University.

Her undergraduate thesis focused on the Rochester scandals. The thesis received a high grade.

After becoming chief of the Flying Squad, in 1929 she decided to leave the police and focused to be a professor at Concordia University.

She died in 1962 at the age of 92.

Trivia :

I was inspired by Judy Hopps (Zootopia), Johan Seong (Lookism), and ofc Cinderella.

I am also inspired by one of my family members. They often tell stories of their childhood suffering as an orphan, experiencing loneliness and discrimination. It truly inspires me, both for myself and for shaping the character of Constance.

I was also influenced by K-drama The Glory, The Mask Girl and K-Movie The Handmaiden lol *I’m so obsessed with them*

In the development, she got many changes. Initially, Constance was a cheerful and enthusiastic girl. As time went on, without realizing it, I made Constance into a Byronic character.

[ aka my favorite things, thanks. i could talk about these forever (especially enneagrams) but i forced myself to keep it to the point otherwise i’d ramble way too long ]

RIYA — she’s an ESTP + type 7 with a wing in 8 + several tarot cards associated with her but the tower (upright) and death (upright) are probably the most aligned with where she is currently in the campaign + was built to be aries-coded.

ELLANA — she's an ENFJ + a type 2 with a wing in 3 + strength tarot vibes + fellow aries girly.

GHILLY — INFJ + type 4 with a wing in 5 + i believe the hierophant was her tarot + she's a pisces babe 🥰

🎻 VIOLIN — does your oc play any instruments? what is their skill level (beginner/intermediate/advanced/virtuoso/etc)?

RIYA — tbh it does check out that Priscilla would want her children to learn an instrument or two (Loren would love it as well from an entertainment perspective), but i can't see Riya committing to anything long term. maybe she memorized an incredibly simple tune or two on the piano and that was deemed enough, her parents happy she at least tried to learn. 

ELLANA — maybe the drums? probably around intermediate level. it's not a skill she dedicated herself to, but one she picked up growing in her clan and participating in musical activities whenever they cropped up. 

GHILLY — i know she's a bard in dnd terms but she actually took some tools for her proficiencies instead of instruments to fit her backstory vibes better. so technically she's not super skilled in instruments, but i could still see her playing some fairly well! drums, flute, and lute come to mind without serious consideration what thedas elves are into.

ELLANA — leading her life with empathy and gentleness for both others and herself. 

GHILLY — at the moment i'd say preserving history, though this might change a bit with some more time spent with her. for now it's right tho

RIYA — extrovert! if there's one thing about Riya, it's that she stay chattin’. she does let people in pretty easily, she's always been a very open lady. that ridiculous level of openness is balanced by her tendency to shut people out once she's had her feelings hurt (perceiving a slight, deciding she can't trust them anymore, getting insulted a little too deeply and not being able to ignore it in good humor, etc). 

ELLANA — i was going to say ambivert but i don't think it's true. she has troubles with voicing inner struggles to those outside of her inner circle, other than that she’s golden and quite sociable. can’t find the right way to word how she is at being open with others but it’s like,,,,she can be vulnerable with those she’s made connections with, but she’s not spilling her guts like Riya. she’s willing to be vulnerable with strangers and acquaintances to empathize with them, but she doesn’t make a habit of doing such a thing for casual chit-chat.

GHILLY — ambivert with more introverted tendencies, i’d say. Ghilly’s spent a majority of the last 12-13 years on her own (maybe had a handful of companions after her father, idk) and that's shaped a lot of her, but she still feels comfortable surrounded by others while staying with clans (the PeopleTM are supposed to stick together and thrive as a community after all). not very reserved, she'll let people in with little resistance if they match her vibes.

RIYA — she used to be so good at keeping her cool that it was genuinely worrisome (or annoying, depending who you ask) to others that she could remain chill and flirty, but uh. everything in the campaign so far has been out to shatter her sense of self and for months it's been getting harder to locate that cool with the mounting stress and trauma lmao. we'll see where she settles on this scale later down the line, i guess. right now she's struggling :)

ELLANA — very much a girly who you can't tell is stressing until the final straw lands and she's snapping because the burden is too much to bear in silence. those close to her can tell when she's treading that line because her warm and sunshine-filled smile comes across strained, doesn't light up her eyes as it usually does. 

GHILLY — she doesn't get stressed out that often, so i imagine when the feeling does come on she isn't the best at handling it.
